Policy
Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the The Top Afrimart website and your orders placed through it. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
Who we are
This website is operated by TT Afrimart Ltd, trading as The Top Afrimart, a home delivery‑only African grocery store based in England. We do not operate a physical shop and do not accept walk-in customers.
Using this site
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order on this site. You agree to provide accurate delivery and contact information when ordering, and to use this site only for lawful purposes.
Products and availability
We make every effort to keep our catalogue accurate, but availability of fresh and frozen groceries can change day to day since items are sourced close to your delivery date. If something you’ve ordered becomes unavailable, we’ll contact you to arrange a substitute or a refund for that item.
Product images shown on this site are for illustrative purposes. Actual packaging, brand, or appearance may vary slightly from what’s pictured.
Orders and acceptance
Placing an order through this website is an offer to buy. We accept that offer once your order and payment are confirmed. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable or a delivery address falls outside our service area, in which case any payment taken will be refunded.
Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken securely at checkout via Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your card details.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure prices displayed are correct, but errors can occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing error on an order you’ve placed, we’ll contact you before processing it further.
Delivery
We deliver to Chester, Birkenhead, Wrexham, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool and surrounding areas. Deliveries run weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays. A flat delivery fee applies within our core delivery areas; delivery further afield may carry an additional charge, confirmed with you before checkout.
Please ensure someone is available to receive your delivery, particularly for frozen or perishable items. We are not responsible for spoilage caused by a delayed collection at the doorstep once delivery has been completed.
Refunds and returns
Our approach to refunds, replacements, and order issues is set out in full in our Refund and Returns Policy.
Intellectual property
The Top Afrimart name, logo, and the content of this website (excluding product images supplied by third parties) belong to TT Afrimart Ltd and may not be copied or reused without our permission.
Limitation of liability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we don’t guarantee this website will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including those set out in our Privacy Policy and Refund and Returns Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our service. Continued use of this site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
